What Do You Know About Web 2.0? is an 8 week (September 12-November 7, 2008) learning program designed to provide you with an opportunity to discover and explore various emerging and established Web 2.0 technologies. This program was modeled after Learning 2.0 designed by Helene Blowers for the Public Library of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County.
While participating in this program, you will discover how these new technologies are changing the way we communicate and use the Internet; explore how you can apply them to your personal and professional experiences and play with these tools to create a unique presence on the world wide web.
You are encouraged to be creative: this is a pressure free way to learn about these new and emerging technologies. The hardest part about this program should be remembering your new logins and passwords : )
In this program you will create and develop a private blog that will chart your progress. As you meet the program's goals, you will be eligible for prizes.
